Ephemeral Garden on Place Stanislas
As each year the Ephemeral Garden takes place on Place Stanislas for one month and is worth a visit.
This year 19,251 plants, 96 meters of plant fences and 540 square meters of lawn have been used.
And this is the celebration of the 10th anniversary of the Ephemeral Garden and the 30th anniversary of Place Stanislas as a classified site by UNESCO.
This time the subject of the garden is linked to the Renaissance, that's why it is full of flowers and vegetables which started being known and used at this time.
I enjoyed walking around there last Wednesday. One side is called Chromatique and the colours of flowers are beautiful. And there are pumpkins just near the Hôtel de Ville. The watering cans on the other side. I forgot to take a photo of the black carrots and white carrots (an Italian tourist was speaking to me, he wanted to sell me oranges ! I escaped and didn't think about using my camera at this point).
But the "flower bed" I really enjoyed is the one facing the Fontaine d'Amphitrite. Silver birch trunks make you look at the fountain and a lot of people used this place to take photos of their family or friends.
Another good time in Nancy on Place Stanislas.
